Requirements
for Firearms Purchases and Shipments |
-
- Modern Firearms
-
- If you are a dealer with a
valid Federal Firearms License (FFL), we may ship your firearms
purchase directly to you. If you are not a dealer with a valid
FFL, you must arrange delivery of your firearms purchase through
a federally licensed firearms dealer in your area. MacTec must
have a signed FFL on file before we can ship your gun and shipment
will only be made to the address shown on the FFL.
-
- Firearms Classified
as Curio & Relics by the BATF
-
- If you are an individual with
valid Federal Collector's License, commonly referred to as a
C&R license, we may ship firearms classified as Curio &
Relics (C&R) by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms
(BATF) directly to you. This category includes any conventional
firearms 50 years old or older, and any factory commemorative
approved by the BATF for C&R classification. MacTec must
have a signed copy of the C&R license on file before we can
ship and shipment will only be made to the address shown on the
C&R license. If you are not a licensed dealer or do not possess
a valid Federal Collector's License, you must arrange delivery
of C&R firearms purchases through a federally licensed firearms
dealer in your area. Firearms classified as C&R by the BATF
will be identified as such in our listings.
-
- Restricted Items
-
- Items other than firearms may
be purchased online and shipped to non-licensed customers in
the USA and it's Territories. Restricted items such as high capacity
magazines cannot be shipped to states for which such items are
prohibited. It is the customer's responsibility to know their
local laws and regulations regarding the purchase of restricted
items.

Placing
A HOLD On A Firearm |
If you find a firearm on our
website that you intend to purchase, you may request a HOLD be
placed on that firearm while the order arrangements are completed.
This will prevent the firearm from being sold to someone else
during this time. To place a firearm on HOLD, you will be required
to make a $25.00, non-refundable deposit by using Mastercard
or Visa. This deposit will be applied to the purchase price at
the time the order is completed, but will not be refunded if
you fail to complete the purchase. The easiest way to make this
deposit payment is by using our secure online shopping cart.
There is a hold deposit link at the top of each firearms listing
page that will take you to the shopping cart, where the deposit
can be made using your MasterCard or Visa. HOLDs will be issued
on a first come basis. Time stamps from the shopping cart order
or phone answering machine message, will determine the customer
who was first in line when requests are received from more than
one individual on a particular firearm. Communicating your intentions
to purchase does not in itself constitute placing a HOLD. A HOLD
can only be issued once a credit card payment is made for the
$25.00 deposit. The HOLD DEPOSIT is good for 10 days.
If balance of payment and FFL have not been received by MacTec
within 10 days of the HOLD being placed, the item is subject
to be released for sale to other buyers and the HOLD DEPOSIT
will be forfeited. Buyers may inquire about longer hold times
and layaway/partial payment plans, but MacTec must agree to the
terms of such arrangements prior to placing the order.
-
-
- The following forms of payment
are accepted for purchases:
-
- 1. Mastercard or Visa.
- 2. Money Order or Certified
Bank Check - No personal checks accepted.
-
- Ordering & Payment Methods
for Purchases:
-
- 1. Order & Pay online with
credit card using our secure shopping cart.
- 2. Order online and select
the money order/cert. check payment option. Mail payment to MacTec
with your order.
-
- Credit Card Processing Occurs
At The Time An Order Is Placed, Not When The Order Is Shipped:
-
- MacTec's webstore provider
processes credit card transactions at the time of purchase and
the customer's credit card will be charged at the time the order
is placed. Accordingly, if a customer places an order for an
item that is out of stock and backordered, the credit card will
be processed at the time the order is placed, not after the order
actually ships. If you are purchasing an item that is temporarily
out of stock, be advised that your credit card will be charged
as soon as the order is placed. If you have any questions about
the status of Out of Stock items, contact MacTec by email.

Steps For Placing
A Firearms Order |
-
- To purchase a firearm from
our website listings, follow the steps below:
1. If you plan to mail in your payment instead of
paying by credit card, place a $25 hold deposit through our secure
online shopping cart to hold the firearm until your payment and
FFL arrive. The $25 deposit will be deducted from the total order
balance due. Contact MacTec Enterprises by email and communicate
your intent to purchase one of our firearms. Identify the firearm
by its Item No. and/or a brief description (example: Item No.
101, Inland M1 Carbine). If the firearm you are interested in
has already sold, we will notify you as such and your deposit
will be canceled or refunded. If you are paying for the full
purchase by credit card, the $25 hold deposit is not necessary
or required.
2. If you do not have an FFL (Federal Firearms License),
contact a local licensed dealer in your area to accept shipment
of the firearm for you. Provide your local dealer with MacTec's
mailing address or email address so they can send us a signed
copy of their FFL. If you are the holder of a FFL send a signed
copy of your license with reference to what firearm is being
purchased.
3. When we have received the 'ship to' FFL and your
payment in full, we will ship the firearm to the FFL address
and notify you by email.
4. You will receive another email confirmation when
the firearm is delivered to the FFL address. If the FFL is someone
other than yourself, you will then make arrangement with the
FFL to complete the required paperwork and take possession of
the firearm.

Return and Order Cancellation
Policies |
-
- Firearms (New & Used)
Order Cancellation Policy:
- Order cancellations for firearms
in which no hold deposit was paid will be subject to a $25 cancellation
fee. Cancellations of orders paid by credit card are subject
to a 5% cancellation fee to cover credit card processing fees.
-
- Firearms General Return
Policy (New and Used):
- The customer must notify MacTec
in advance for authorization to return any firearm and to receive
special instructions for return shipment! Firearms must
be returned within 3 business days of receipt and in the same
condition as received. MacTec reserves the right to deduct additional
amounts from the refund or to refuse the return of a firearm
that has been damaged, and/or has missing, or swapped out parts.
The firearm should be insured for the purchase cost when return
shipped. Insurance for return shipment is the responsibility
of the customer. MacTec will not be responsible for any damaged
return shipment that is not insured. Shipping costs and fees
are not refundable.
-
- New Firearm Specific Return
Policy:
- Returns of new (NIB) firearms
with factory warranties will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
MacTec will not accept returns of new (NIB) firearms that have
been fired, scratched, or otherwise damaged by the customer.
MacTec is not a factory warranty service provider and any problems
of malfunction, finish wear, or other defects with new (NIB)
firearms must be addressed with the manufacturer under the terms
of warranty.
-
- Used Firearm Specific Return
Policy:
- We try our best to provide
accurate descriptions of the used and surplus firearms we have
for sale. Buyers should keep in mind that some of the firearms
we sell are more than 50 years old, have seen military service,
and won't look like a new firearm. We try to provide firearms
that are pleasing to look at as well as mechanically sound. This
includes paying special attention to the match of wood color
and grain for stocks and handguards and the overall patina of
metal finish. We try to indicate when a firearm has been metal
refinished, but we have been fooled ourselves at times. Bottom
line, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you
are not satisfied after inspecting the firearm, you may return
it within 3 business days for a refund minus shipping costs and
fees.
-
- General Return & Order
Cancellation Policy (non-firearms):
- All products sold by MacTec
are subject to whatever warranty terms that may be provided by
the manufacturer. MacTec is not a warranty service provider and
any problems of malfunction, or other defects must be addressed
with the manufacturer. Non-defective items may be returned in
original, unused condition for exchange or refund within 10 days
of receipt unless otherwise specified. All returns require prior
authorization and a request for authorization must be made within
5 days of order receipt. Shipping costs and fees are not refundable
and returns for refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Cancellations
of orders paid by credit card are subject to a 5% cancellation
fee to cover credit card processing fees.
-
- Additional Policy Information
Specific to Nill Grips:
- Refunds cannot be issued for
any Nill Grips that have been damaged, modified, or otherwise
returned in any condition that prevents the grips from being
restocked and sold as new condition. All authorized returns must
be shipped back to MacTec via Priority Mail or UPS within 5 days
of authorization. Grips should be wrapped carefully in bubble
wrap or newspaper, shipped in a sturdy box, and insured for the
full value. MacTec will not be responsible for returns that arrived
damaged during shipment. Nill grips that are furnished with Nill
grip screws should be examined and test fit on gun frame prior
to removing screws from their sealed poly bag compartment, as
refunds cannot be given if screws have been unsealed. Returns
of Nill grips that are regular stocked models for any reason
other than as a result of a mistake made by MacTec will be subject
to a 15% restocking fee. All refunds will be minus shipping costs
and fees. Standard shipping costs will be deducted from
refunds of any returned grips that were purchased with a free
shipping special.
-
- Returns will not be accepted,
nor refunds given for any SPECIAL ORDER Nill Grips unless a mistake
was made by MacTec.
It is important that you provide MacTec with the CORRECT Part
No. for the grips you wish to Special Order. Please verify the
specified Part No. contains the features you want for your grips
by examining closely the KN Nill-Grips website, catalog, and/or
direct email to KN Nill-Grips.
-
-
-
- MacTec will not be responsible
for pricing errors and/or typographical errors. If a pricing
error is detected after an order is placed, the customer will
be provided the option of purchasing at the corrected price or
the customer may cancel the order for refund. MacTec will not
be obligated to honor a price that was in error.
